We have no interest in acquiring or storing any data or images of anyone beyond the minimum we need to make the BittyWeb service work. Privacy is important and to be respected. So, that's what we try to do.
A BittyWeb account is typically associated with an organisation such as a school. Each organisation account has one or more user accounts associated with it.
There are two types of user of the BittyWeb service. Administrators and Standard Users. Administrators must be 18 years old at least (i.e. adults). Standard users can be any age. All organisational accounts must have at least one administrator.
We store the organisation's name and address and the date and time that the application to open an account was received.
For administrator accounts, we store the selected user ID, user name, the date and time at which the administrator account was opened, the user's email address and the organisation they are associated with. We store the user's chosen password in encrypted form. Passwords are not known to Bitty Software and cannot be decrypted by us.
We acquire and store no personally identifiable data relating to standard users. It is assumed that standard users will often be school children and so all standard user accounts are completely anonymous, consisting of a user ID chosen by an administrator and password and nothing more.
For all users, we record information about pages visited, applications started and any issues encountered. This is for analytical and support purposes to help better understand how BittyWeb is being used so that improvements can be made and to aid in troubleshooting issues reported by users.
We do not share data acquired by the BittyWeb service with any other 3rd party.
